Why Virtual Team

Five reasons clients stay past the first hire

Dedicated

One resource, only yours

No shared queue, no rotating cast. Your dedicated resource works exclusively for you and stays.

Leadership

25 years of Australian market experience

Founder Rohit Sahdev's 25 years in the Australian market, including senior leadership at Telstra, shape how every dedicated team is managed.

Transparent

You always know what your team is doing

Every dedicated resource works behind Screenshot Monitor — auditable activity and reporting, not a black box.

Flexible

No more "That's not my job."

Your dedicated outsourced resource adapts to what your business needs, takes ownership and grows their career by stepping up to new challenges.

Built for now

Capacity without the hiring squeeze

Skilled and reliable operational talent is harder to hire locally right now. A dedicated resource adds capacity without adding to that pressure.

The outcome this role is built for

Consistent, auditable device policy across every customer tenant — because configuration changes go through staged testing and documented approval, not ad hoc edits.

Role scope

What this role owns day to day

Core responsibilities

  • Create, test, assign and maintain approved device configuration profiles, compliance policies, app configuration and app protection policies
  • Manage policy scope, dynamic groups, exclusions, staged deployments and rollback plans to reduce user disruption and configuration conflict
  • Configure enrolment controls, device restrictions, certificates, Wi-Fi/VPN, encryption and endpoint security settings within the agreed authority matrix
  • Investigate policy conflicts, failed deployments and non-compliance; document root cause, remediation and change evidence
  • Produce compliance, enrolment and deployment reporting for service reviews and customer audit requests

Skills and platform evidence

  • Microsoft Intune: configuration profiles, compliance policies, endpoint security policies, security baselines, application deployment and Conditional Access integration.
  • Jamf Pro: configuration profiles, policies, smart groups, inventory, Apple enrolment and application management.
  • Omnissa Workspace ONE UEM (AirWatch): profiles, compliance, applications, enrolment and device lifecycle administration.
  • Apple Business Manager, Android Enterprise, Windows Autopilot, Entra ID and Defender for Endpoint.
  • Change control, test groups, least privilege, documentation and PowerShell/API automation where approved.
Flexibility

Works your hours. Picks up the work.

Australian business hours

Aligned to your primary time zone and holiday calendar for day-to-day coverage.

9am–5pm style coverage, matched to your roster

Extended coverage

Stretch shift start/end times around carrier appointment windows and peak order volume.

Early-start or late-finish shifts, by agreement

Round-the-clock rotation

Rotating dedicated resources for genuine 24-hour coverage on faults and urgent exceptions.

Multiple dedicated seats, handover documented

What "no that's not my job" looks like in practice: a policy rollout hits an edge case outside the standard rollout plan — it still gets investigated, documented and either fixed or rolled back cleanly, instead of being left half-deployed.

What stays with your authorised staff

Configuration authority is always approved and client-controlled. This role does not make autonomous security-policy changes or access data beyond its assigned tenants.

Why this role is hard to scale locally

The market backdrop for MDM administration hires

329,500 vacancies

job vacancies were recorded across Australia in May 2026 — 293,800 of them in the private sector.

Source: Australian Bureau of Statistics, May 2026
3.3% wage growth

Australian wage growth over the year to the March quarter 2026 (3.2% in the private sector), raising the cost of hiring locally.

42% want 24/7

of Australian customers surveyed wanted a 24/7 contact option — a service window most local-only teams can't cover alone.

Not exclusive to telcos

The same policy discipline, needed anywhere devices are managed at scale

Strip away the dealer-specific context and this role is a recognisable shape: build and govern configuration policy through staged testing, with clear audit evidence behind every change.

Common today

Configuration policy handled ad hoc, between tickets

  • Policy changes go out without staged testing
  • No single owner for compliance and configuration drift
  • Audit evidence is assembled after the fact, under pressure
The alternative

A dedicated MDM Administrator, outsourced to us

  • One administrator, owning policy and compliance end to end
  • Reports to your own ops manager, not a third party
  • Same Screenshot Monitor transparency, direct to you

No — configuration authority is always approved and client-controlled. This role builds, tests and documents policy changes; it doesn't make autonomous security decisions.
A dedicated MDM Administrator works exclusively for your business, inside your own systems, reporting to your nominated manager — not a shared resource split across an agency's other clients.
