Why Virtual Team

Five reasons clients stay past the first hire

Dedicated

One resource, only yours

No shared queue, no rotating cast. Your dedicated resource works exclusively for you and stays.

Leadership

25 years of Australian market experience

Founder Rohit Sahdev's 25 years in the Australian market, including senior leadership at Telstra, shape how every dedicated team is managed.

Transparent

You always know what your team is doing

Every dedicated resource works behind Screenshot Monitor — auditable activity and reporting, not a black box.

Flexible

No more "That's not my job."

Your dedicated outsourced resource adapts to what your business needs, takes ownership and grows their career by stepping up to new challenges.

Built for now

Capacity without the hiring squeeze

Skilled and reliable operational talent is harder to hire locally right now. A dedicated resource adds capacity without adding to that pressure.

The outcome this role is built for

Endpoints that stay enrolled, patched and compliant across every customer environment — because someone is actively managing the device fleet, not just responding when something breaks.

Role scope

What this role owns day to day

Core responsibilities

  • Enrol and retire Windows, macOS, iOS/iPadOS and Android endpoints using approved workflows; maintain device inventory and ownership records
  • Deploy approved applications, updates, certificates, Wi-Fi/VPN settings and endpoint configurations; monitor success and remediate failures
  • Operate Windows Autopilot and Apple enrolment workflows, including Apple Business Manager where the client uses it
  • Monitor compliance, encryption, endpoint protection and update status; investigate routine exceptions and escalate security or policy decisions
  • Resolve endpoint incidents and service requests through the client's PSA/ticketing system, with clear notes, SLA updates and customer communication

Skills and platform evidence

  • Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
  • Jamf Pro and Apple Business Manager for Apple estates.
  • Omnissa Workspace ONE UEM (formerly VMware AirWatch) for mixed mobile fleets; Android Enterprise where applicable.
  • PowerShell for approved repeatable administration; working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Conditional Access and endpoint security controls.
  • MSP context: experience moving safely between multiple tenants and following client-specific SOPs, access boundaries and change windows.
Flexibility

Works your hours. Picks up the work.

Australian business hours

Aligned to your primary time zone and holiday calendar for day-to-day coverage.

9am–5pm style coverage, matched to your roster

Extended coverage

Stretch shift start/end times around carrier appointment windows and peak order volume.

Early-start or late-finish shifts, by agreement

Round-the-clock rotation

Rotating dedicated resources for genuine 24-hour coverage on faults and urgent exceptions.

Multiple dedicated seats, handover documented

What "no that's not my job" looks like in practice: an enrolment or deployment fails for a reason that isn't in the standard runbook — it still gets investigated and either resolved or escalated with a clear note, instead of being left stuck in the queue.

What stays with your authorised staff

Platform architecture and unrestricted security-policy authority remain with your team. This role implements approved configuration and routine remediation — it doesn't set policy or hold data access beyond its assigned tenants.

Why this role is hard to scale locally

The market backdrop for endpoint administration hires

329,500 vacancies

job vacancies were recorded across Australia in May 2026 — 293,800 of them in the private sector.

3.3% wage growth

42% want 24/7

of Australian customers surveyed wanted a 24/7 contact option — a service window most local-only teams can't cover alone.

Not exclusive to telcos

The same skillset, needed anywhere IT runs in-house

Strip away the dealer-specific context and this role is a recognisable shape: enrol and manage devices against policy, monitor compliance, and resolve exceptions before they become incidents.

Common today

Endpoint management split across the service desk

  • Enrolment and patching compete with ticket volume for attention
  • Configuration drift builds up across the device fleet
  • Reporting on compliance is whatever gets pulled together for the audit
The alternative

A dedicated Endpoint Administrator, outsourced to us

  • One administrator, focused only on endpoint operations
  • Reports to your own ops manager, not a third party
  • Same Screenshot Monitor transparency, direct to you

Common questions

Questions about hiring a dedicated Endpoint Administrator

Cost depends on experience level, working hours and specific responsibilities. Tell us your requirements and we'll put together a proposal for a dedicated Endpoint Administrator.
Yes — working hours are agreed during setup to align with your operational needs, whether that's standard Australian business hours or extended coverage.
No — candidates are matched and screened against the specific platforms your environment actually runs, whether that's Intune, Jamf, Workspace ONE or a mix. We don't claim one person is expert in everything.
We shortlist candidates against your actual role requirements, you interview and approve before anyone starts, and your dedicated resource is trained on your specific systems and processes from day one.
