What this role owns day to day
Core responsibilities
- Design and administer approved MDM/UEM configuration profiles, compliance policies, application policies and endpoint security settings
- Plan pilot groups and deployment rings, manage scope and exclusions, record approvals and maintain rollback steps for every material policy change
- Integrate device compliance with Conditional Access under the client's governance process; report non-compliance and remediate operational causes
- Maintain Apple, Windows and mobile enrolment profiles and ensure configuration changes remain aligned with customer baselines
- Produce service reports, technical documentation and audit evidence across multiple managed customer environments

Skills and platform evidence
- Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Conditional Access, Autopilot, Defender for Endpoint and Windows 11 policy management.
- Jamf Pro, Apple Business Manager and Apple configuration profiles.
- Omnissa Workspace ONE UEM (AirWatch), with Samsung Knox, Android Enterprise or SOTI as useful dealer-specific options.
- MECM/SCCM for co-managed or transitional estates; PowerShell and Graph/API skills for governed automation.
- ITIL change practice, technical documentation, multi-tenant administration and customer communication.
